At exactly 1404 iST (by | BRET, watch) on 5 September,
Sgt Cole was driving est on JS 40 approximately 25 niles
East of “eno, iievada, The day was clear and bright witn
unlimited visibility. His wife, riding in the front rignt
seat, noticed the disc when it was at esbout ten devrees
inclination to the rear and off to the right of the car.
She asked her husband, "low what is that thing?", thinking
he would be able to identify it. Set “Mee did not stop the
car but leaned forward over the steerin’ wheel and looked
up to see what it vas. He states he first saw it at acout
ten degrees inclination forvard ani to the right of tne cer,
His first impression was tnat its’ size in diameter was shout
that of a P-38 wingspan, and, judging from thet estimated its
altitude at around 3,000' to 5,009' and speed from 500 to
600 MiPH. However, the shape was unlike any aircraft he had
ever seen before. It was perfectly round with curved sides
that came to a smooth rounded edee. iIts' plane was perpen=
dicular to the earth's surface and remained so for the dur=
ation of the sighting. The object was reflectin: sunli;sht
when he saw it and appeared silvery=-metallic in color, like
an unpainted aircraft. It disappeared to the ‘est in a timed
two (2) minutes. le heard no sound, sew no smoke, contrails
or exmust, noticed no ports or windows. His vite, ie
claims she thought it was spinning on its' short axis and
could see windows evenly spaced all around the edre. irs.
Ql, his sister-in-law, had only a glimpse of the object.
