between and above the two rectangular objects The retangular objects appeared to
be bright metal top but dark underneath, while the color the circular object
was the same as that frosted glass. The "flying saucer" sighted,
was in level flight and was flying northwesterly the. weather was
clear with high cumulus clouds The "flying saucer" fle Bpeer om 10 to
15 mph over area just about e center of Oak Ridge. Weather Section of
Plant X-10 reported elease any weather other
meteorological instruments that day. The Weather Bureau Knoxville Airport
reported having released a weather balloon at 1005 but meteorological equipment.

SYNOPSIS
Three unidentified objects were sighted flying over Oakridge, Tennessee,
at approximately 1200 hours, 19 June 1949, at estimated looo ft. altitude.
These objects were flying from southeast to thwest, and at an estimated
speed of l0 t 12 miles per hour.

19 June 1949, they sighted three unidentified objects flying from the
southeast, over Mrs first sighted the
objects and called Mr attention to them. They watched the
objects until they came into closer view. They described two o f the ob-
jects as being rectangular in shape, and identical third object was
described as circular shape, and flying either in betw slightly
above the two rectangular objects. The two rectangular ojects appeared
to be flat and fledible. The third object was t. but I not have a
flexible appearai The rectangular objects raveling followed a
wave-like cour appeared to be dark in nderneath, and of
bright metal finish on top. Their movements were ordinated, and their
reflection in traveling was light and dark. The rectangular objects seemed
to have an area of from four to ten square feet The circular object was
described as 1 being the color frosted glass This third object did not
follow the wave-like follow movement e rectangular objects, toeto but maintained
a level flight. There was indicate how these objects were
being propelled. They remained minutes after being
sighted, and when last seen traveling in a northwest direction.
During this time the objects pear either gain ( loose alti-
tude. The weather was clear with the exceptic high scattered cumulus
clouds, and the wind which was fro m an easterly directi ery slight.
4. At
Oakridge, Tennessee, stated that Mrs neighbor, called
her attention to the three flying objects sighted by tr at
approximately 1200 hours, 19 June 1949, and that she watched them for
approximately 10 minutes. Mrs description and details regar

The witnesses of these objects s are people, and their
