phonomenon observed by him was located at a high altitude in the quadrant of sky
northwest Tampa, Florida, and appeared to bo located about twonty (20) miles
narthwost of Tampa spiral condensation trail covering large sector

NARRATI MMARY:
At approx 005h2 hours 6 June 1949 noticed a trail of white
snoke in the northwest quadrant of the sky from his location in the control tower
of the Intornational Airport pa, Florida. Object apparently causing smoke
appeared to be going in a westerly direction, , and soe mod to inforant to bo located
apprainately over the city o Dunedin, Florida. the design of the trail of
smoke, inforant thought the sroko waLS caused afalling aircraft. Direction of
trail of smoke 1a8 straight dowm. Actual object causing soko-trail was not scen by
this infornant. Phenamenon was witnessed mant about forty (L0) mimutes,

HARRATIVE SUMMARY:
Mhr Projoct Angr., Grosley Engineering Div, Crosley Motors,
Cincinnati, hio, was inturvicnd on ll June 19i9, and he stated that he observed
an unidentified aerial object at approximately V hours on 5 June 1949, from the
back yard of his homo, wiuich is approximately one rilo southcast of the Lunken Air
port, Cincinnati, Chio. The flight pattorn of tho object, diffcront than ballons or
airplanes, attracted s attention to the object. object apjcared to be about
the size of a basoball and dark grayish broum in color. ihen first seen, it was al-
nost overhead at an eighty five degree angle approx eight to ten thousand feet in
altitude. The object, traveling southoast, was round in shape and as it got further
my from tho oboerver, it ap;eared to chango fran round shape t sausage shuape

the top of its cliab, and took appraxinately fifteen soconds to make a direct reverso
