NARRATIV SUMMARY:
QB scted that at approximately 1700 hours on the 22 May 191)9,: that he, his
wife, his son chreveport, Lae, his son's
guest were on a fishing party at Caddo Like when their attention was ettracicd to
an Fe82 flying across the lake. ‘hile they wcre watching the Fef2, Mis
noticed the unimovn object, and directed their attent:on to it. furticr stated
that when he first sighted this object, it ws anproxinately tivo (2) miles avay
at an angle of sixty (GO) degrees, and at an extremely high altitude wiich he es-
timated to be eight (S) to ten (20) thousand feet. He estimated the opject to nave
remained in sight approximately four (,) minutes, and that it was silver in color,
Oblong shaped, metal constructicn, and apnroximately the size of mseball. qigugmm
estimated the direction of flight as being southeast. The flight path was @ Con
tinued straight line, and there was no sound comected with the object. stated
that due to the height of the object, he was unable to see anydetails. He estinated
the speed of the object at five hundred (500) miles per hour, and stated it continued
in straight flight until it faded from view.
Agent's Notes At 1700, 22 May 199, tho reporting Officer was in Bossier City, Lae
which is aporox. 15 miles fron Caddo Lake when he slighted an aircraft positivcly
identified as a B36 at an cstimated altitude’ of 20,000 {te It was very difficult to
identify as an aircraft due to the bright sun, but the distinctive sound of the B36
was easly discernible. v — oe
In the opinion of the reporting officer, it is possible that the rcported ‘object
was the same or a similar aircraft as the ability of the observers to accurately
tinate altitude is doubtful.
