At 2 mint 6,2 miles NE of San Antonto, Texas, about 150 yards
on Judson Read off intersection of dadsoan Koad anc Bacogdoches Koad,
M/Sgt Ellis Stone saw an object which appeared to be in the form of a
Sphere, the color of which eppeared a lurinouw: hinish green intermingled
with a yellow tinge. Object wes seen between the resding of 325° and 295°
off wagnetic north and was believed to bave been traveling fiom ESE to
Rie Time of travel in this agimmth wes estimated as 5 seconds. Object
was first observed at an elevation of 15° and as it disappeared over a sazall
hill the elevation had dropped toe about 12°. It was moving with a gliding
effect from the observer's right to his Jeft and slightly away from the
point of observation. The trail varied in length from approximately
three times the diameter of the object to six or seven times the diameter.
Golor of the trail eppeared a light pink with bright red sparks spraying
from the trail et about 1/2 the distance of the length. (The treil was a
straight shot~back twail with these eperks emitted making the only irregulerity).

SUMMARY OF INFORMATION

u/Sszt Ellis C. Stone, Headquarters Fourth Army, AG Section, reporta observing
an unidentified aeria] phenomena on 20 Jammry 1949 between the hours of 1800 and
1900 (closer estimate ziven to be sbout 1935 hours).

The point from which this observation was made is 6.2 wiles northeast of the
city of San 4“ntonie, Texna, about 150 yards on Judson Road off the intersection of
Judsem Road and Nacegdoshes Roed.

In making sompagzs sightings on ths azmuth of the observation it wes determined
that the object was seen between the reading of 325° to 295° off mammetio north
with the object traveling in a path believed to have been from the ESE direction to

the WWW. Time of travel in this azmrth is estimated to be about 5 seconds. Object
when first ocoserved was at an slavation of about 15° and as object went out of sizhé
over a small hill, the slevetion had dropped te sbout 12%,

The object appeared to be in the form of * sohere the color of which eppesared
to be luminous bluish green intermingled with » yellew tings. It waa noving witb
a giiding erect from the obeerver's right to his left and slichtly avey from the
points of observeticn.
