which extinguished before resching the ground - this occurred about hco
yards borth of the rosd on which he was driving - lO miles east of
Vaughn, N. M. - Highway 60.
On 23 Nov 19lig at approxinately 2130 was driving west
on highway 60 - approxinately 10 miles west of Vaughn, N. M. He again
oboerved a ball of light descending verticedly. It burst 100-200 feet
from the ground - Conditions end appearence were the samo as on 3 and

On the last 2 sightings/saw no aircraf't and heurd no sound which is
understandable since he wns traveling in a closed mutomobile. Weather
conditions were clear.

on Mithway 60, about Io miles west of Vaughn, New Mecioo. I observed a ball
of light, descending vertieally, which burst loo-2oo feet from the ground.
The conditions and apoearance were the same as occurred Norember.' (32)
"gelonel stated that he did not report the incidents as he thought
they might have been connected with scme Air Forcs exercises. He further
stated that he heard no sound or saw no airoraft during sither incident,
