in the past, detected on a radar scope unidentified flying objects

i, Qhe primary purpose of this trip was to interview Dr, @BW, reors-
seating She Watson Laboratories, who waa tanporarily on loan te Holioman Air
Forse Base, Upon arrival, it was learned that Dr, SOBMMM had returned to
the ‘atson Laboratories at fed Bank, N, J, A teletype sent from Nolloman Air
Force Sase stating that Or, MRNA 9 1d not be available for interview did
not reach Hq, AMC in sufficient time to postpone the visit. Nowever, it ws
learned that Dr, HAMM would be at Maxwell Air Forse Base, Montzomery, Ala.
on or about ll May 1948 for an indefinite period of time.
2. A civilian, Mr, MUNNAR, who works in the same laboratory with

and photozraphs submitted oy him some months agp. Althouch Mr, Gime is
currently employed as a piano: playernin a nizht club, his orimary intersst
iz ino small but quite complete laboratory behind his home. According
his business card, this laboratory i3 called “Panoramio lesearch - Laboratory
and Observatory”, and Mr. SMB is referred to as the “Chiof of Start".
‘Mr, GIR appeared to be completely sincers and aprarently is quite interested
in scientific experiments, Mr, Gililllibessated he was an aircratt reco mition
instructor during the last war, and that in his opinion, the ob ect sizhted

Three balloon observers saw an object very high in the sky, toving
faster thar any kmowm aircraft and possessing a rounded indistinct forn,
which dicappsared suddenly. it was seen less than thirty seconds and
was apparontly not ranned, judging by its violent maneuvers. For an-
