n Saturday June 2lst, shortighefore noon, 1 was in our yard at
home when I happened to glance up at a passing plane. I would sa;
this was a two notored one from one of the amy bases, flying south
at about 10,000 or 12,000. fest. On the mare glance at the plane
a bright shiny Ziash attracted my avtantlons coming from approximately
UtTo or three tuousand fees Lower than the plane, but slightly ahead
of my Line of vision of the plane. ify first thouzht was that t bh
plane had thrown out hand bills, but this could not be “ they
{the flashes or disks) ware ahead of the plane. One thing different
tho, it seems to me tney were not oe. oak, as fast as the plane,
Va realize to, now, toat Whatever they were, they must have been
quite large, being a3 plain as ths xcarest one WAS, bo 30 Itigh.
And again, they were traveling south against prevailing winds. At
lea % some of the smaller flashes, if not all wers as nig th or higher
than the plane, but the nearest one soaied lower, both when i: clasned
and otherwise, ag it did imernittently.
